Internet writer since 1996 still writing, I've started as web designer, interested mostly to accessibility and semantic.
PHP developer since 2002 and community manager in GrUSP Association.
I was organizing phpDay and jsDay conferences held yearly in italy.
GNU/Linux user since 2003 using free software for desktop in the spare time and for servers during workhours. That made me a somehow DevOps.
My favourite distribution is Debian, also in Mint LMDE style.
Between 2004 and 2009 I owned a small business called Bologna Informatica, selling computer parts and configured GNU/Linux desktops. The business was focused in my local area Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
Since 2009 I work as Devops in regional public administration Regione Emilia-Romagna.
My duty is research and development based on opensource softwarw and keeping contacts with online opensource communities and internal teams.
In the spare time I drive the "Bologna PHP User Group" aka #pugBO for GrUSP association.
In year 2015 we organized the "Italian WordPress Day" in Bologna http://wpday.it
Since 2019 I'm exploring CI-CD applications delivery in Kubernetes ecosystem
